Sarah was daughter of Henry Philip ROUQUETTE (1798 – 1871) and Sarah Thomas BLAKEWAY 1819 – 1871. Henry was of East Prussian descent, although his name suggests a French connection. Before coming to Britain, he spelt his first names Henri Phillippe. Henri/Henry was a prosperous merchant. Sarah was from Lavender Hill, London.
Sarah married George HUBBARD (1859 - 1936)
on 1 June 1892, at the Parish Church, Hammersmith.
