Little is known about Charlotte. However, I have inherited an encased miniature of her likeness.

My grandmother Charlotte Marian Hubbard (née VIZARD) has written the following in the back of the case: “My Aunt Charlotte, after whom I was named. She was the wife of Edward Foley rector of All Saints Derby & after of Jevington, Sussex. C.M.Hubbard July (Date lost)

Behind the picture is a mother of pearl casing, behind which is a scrap of paper (just visible) which might have more writing and probably contains a lock of her hair.
